Mineral Processing Operator Training

Free for eligible Indigenous candidates who live in BC. 

Ulkatcho First Nation and NWCC have partnered to provide entry level training to prepare individuals for employment at operating mines that mill ore. Training is focused on the knowledge and skills to work safely and become a Mineral Processing Operator. Funding for this contract is being provided by the provincial government.

Please note that this is not a camp based program. Accommodation and food are not included.

Application deadline is July 6, 2018. Start date is in September.  View the eligibility form for the free training offered, HERE.

Minerals North Conference

Minerals North Conference

Minerals North is the non-profit Association that facilitates the hosting of the annual Minerals North Conference.  This event is hosted by various communities in northern BC and has the largest northern mining conferences in Western Canada.

The 2019 event will be held in Chetwynd and in 2020 it will be held in Quesnel!  Events include the trade show, core shack, mine and geology tours, etc.  Always an exciting event to attend and a great place to network.  Please visit here again at a later date for more information.
